Hamriyah Free Zone team takes parts in World of Food India event
A delegation from Hamriyah Free Zone Authority (HFZA) successfully participated in the 11th edition of Annapoorna - World of Food India during the last week of September in Mumbai, India.
Örganised by Koelnmesse YA Tradefair Pvt Ltd and Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI), the International trade fair and conference for the food and beverage industry attracted over 186 exhibitors from 25 countries and thousands of visitors.
“The event that took place in Bombay Exhibition Centre was an extraordinary B2B platform for the Indian food & beverage market. We met a number of local and international entrepreneurs with whom we discussed potential business and investment possibilities in Hamriyah Free Zone”, said Saud Salim Al Mazrouei, Director of HFZA and Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone) who led the delegation to Mumbai.
Since its inception, the event has become the most important sourcing platform of the industry and is the leading meeting place for the food and beverage industry but also for the catering industry and the food retail.
The product spectrum at the fair ranged from various raw and process materials, food additives, fruits & vegetables, breadcrumbs, baking agents, raw ingredients, nutrients like pasta, pulses, oat products, cereals, muesli, different kinds of preserves, olives, different kinds of sauces and seasonings, nuts, dried fruits, oils, health foods and dietetic products and snack products, frozen foods, chilled food, dairy products and equipment for food service and catering.
